The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Krowor Constituency, Joseph Attah Gyimah, also known as Nungua Chairman, a native of Akyem Abompe, has made a generous donation to the people of Asuom by providing office furniture and essential equipment to the Asuom Fire Post.
The donation, which comprises tables, chairs, and other office logistics, aims to enhance the working environment of Ghana National Fire Service personnel within the community.
Presenting the items, on behalf Nungua Chairman, Asuom Tiboase electoral Assembly member Jones Sarpong a.k.a Hon Yaw Donkor said, the support was driven by Joseph Attah Gyimah’s desire to augment safety and emergency response in Asuom and its surrounding areas. He emphasized the importance of adequately resourcing institutions like the Fire Service to deliver timely and effective services to the public.
“I firmly believe that when our fire officers are equipped with the necessary tools and a conducive working environment, they will be more motivated to serve and protect lives and property,” he said.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Fire Station, the Station Officer, S.O Donkor expressed profound gratitude to the NPP Chairman, describing the donation as timely and impactful. He assured that the equipment would be utilized effectively to enhance their daily operations.
Unit Committee and other Assembly members present at the brief ceremony also commended the Nungua Chairman for remembering Asuom and supporting an institution that plays a vital role in safeguarding lives and property.
The gesture adds to a growing list of philanthropic acts by Joseph Attah Gyimah, who is widely recognized for his commitment to community development and support for institutions beyond his constituency.
