Synod began on Thursday 21st April. There was a Ministerial Session and Lay Spirituality followed by Representative Session where the Clergy and the Laity received reports from various directorate for deliberations.
Memorial service was held in memory of the department souls with the hope of resurrection on Thursday night.
Official Opening took place on Friday and in attendance were Immed. Past Bishop of Oda Diocese, Rt Rev Kwame Barffour Kyei, Fosu Bishop, Cape Coast Bishop, Hon Osafo Marfo, Nana Okoda, the various organizations, church members etc.
Five motor bicycles were donated to five Circuits such as Boadua, New Abirem, Awisa, Akokoaso Kotokuom and Akwatia with each of one costing Gh¢6,400.00.
Session was reconvened for deliberations on reports from other directorate to continue.
On Saturday, we had the Ministerial Session and Lay Spirituality. We really prayed for the growth of the church.
Representative Session was reconvened and we had Mission Work where fund was raised to put up a Synod Pavilion.
Election of Lay Chairman was held under the supervision of Tema Diocesan Bishop and Fosu Diocesan Lay Chairman.

Dr Isaac Danso - 57
Mr Frank Inkuum Eyiah - 44
Mr Tutu Yeboah - 12
Therefore, Dr Isaac Danso is the Lay Chairman elect for our Diocese
The 1st and the 2nd runner ups all pledged their support for Dr Isaac Danso for Lay Movement work to go on.
They exchanged pleasantries to show their maturity in the Lord.
Yesterday, 24th April marked the Thanksgiving Service.
On the whole, Synod 2022 was successful by God's grace.
We thank all the organizational reps who were present and Lay Synod members. May God bless us all.
