The Assembly member of Akyem Dwenase in the Denkyembour District of Eastern Region Hon Bremang Bosompem has narrated how robbery cases keeps increasing in his town due to the bad state of their roads.
He says the rate at which some unknown persons in the area threatening their lives due to the poor road network is on the rise.
In an interview with Assembly member revealed that, Akyem Dwenase is a community which is more into farming are small scale mining as their source of income over decades.
Hon Bremang also noted that, farmers always find themselves wanting since their farm produce are left to rot in their farms due to the circumstances of their roads.
Although there has been some construction of gutters in the towns like Apinamang and Dwenase which sometimes gives them hope but not avail.
In his remarks, he appealed to the government and the ministry of roads and highway to come to their aid.
