NDC Constituency Chairman calls for calmness aftermath of the election.

 

The Constituency Chairman for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) of Akwatia in the Eastern Region Mr Awal Moro popularly known as Chairman BB has called for oneness in the party aftermath of their just ended Constituency elections.

The party held their Constituency elections on Sunday 23rd October, 2022 with about one thousand and seventy eight (1,078) delegates representing a hundred and sixteen (116) polling station across board.

About eighty percent (80%) of the old executives were given the mandate to retain their seat due to their hard work.

Chairman Awal Moro speaking to Papa Story news indicated that, they had a free and fair voting/elections and moreover violent free gathering.

He says since the battle is the Lord, party sympathizers and faithfuls should support and unite with the current elected executives to help them retain the parliamentary seat.

Chairman BB who is very optimistic the seat will be retained reiterated that, the Member of Parliament for Akwatia Hon Henry Boakye Yiadom popularly known as Okoyo has worked tremendously well in his first three years and for that matter they can capitalize on it.

In his remarks, chairman Awal Moro called on all party members to restore calm devoid political factions.
